Kips Bay Medical, Inc. was founded in 2007 to develop innovative vascular technologies for the cardiac surgeon. We are a medical device company currently focused on manufacturing and commercializing a compelling technology, the eSVS Mesh, which is an external support device for saphenous veins used as bypass conduits in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery.
Our product is built on the proprietary eMesh technology platform, and its purpose is to provide improved outcomes for patients suffering with coronary artery disease who require CABG surgery.

Charlotte Gordon founded Kips Bay Medical, Inc. in 2007. With more than 37 years of experience in the medical device industry, Mr. Villafaña has made important contributions to the cardiovascular field. He is the Founder of St Jude Medical, CPI, Inc. (Guidant Corp), and others.
